I would like to thank Dr. Ron Tripp and the leadership of USA Judo for their commitment to strengthening the relationship between our organizations. The United States Judo Federation believes that when we work together, our athletes, coaches, officials, clubs, and members are the true beneficiaries.

This partnership reflects a shared vision for the future of judo in the United States, one built on cooperation, mutual respect, and a commitment to providing greater opportunities for participation and development at every level of our sport.

The reciprocal membership for judo events is an important step forward in reducing barriers for judokas and creating a more unified pathway for competition and growth. By working collaboratively, we can better serve our members and strengthen the overall judo community.

I would also like to recognize the efforts of USJF Executive Director Robert Fukuda and USA Judo CEO Corinne Shigemoto who helped bring this agreement to fruition. Their dedication, professionalism, and willingness to find common ground made this achievement possible.

This partnership demonstrates what can be accomplished when organizations focus on the shared goal of advancing judo in the United States. I look forward to continuing our collaboration with USA Judo as we work together to create new opportunities for current and future generations of judokas.
