50th Anniversary Book Project Extended

MEMORANDUM

The 50th Anniversary Book project is moving forward towards completion. Unfortunately, due to the
events of September 11, 2001, the original schedule has been adversely affected and pushed back
several months. Thus, the book will not be ready for distribution in next month, as called for in the
original timetable.

The new target date for completion and distribution is now July 2003. We apologize for this delay and
appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.

Because of the extra time, we are re-opening the pre-sales campaign and
also accepting more sponsors and donors for the project. This is another
opportunity to participate in pre-sales of the book at an attractive
discount. This is another chance for those interested in donating to
project to do so and have their names listed among the projects
benefactors. Please act quickly as this window will close on 12/31/02.
