USJF Hall of Fame, Lifetime Achievement and Presidents Recognition
Awards
One of the most prestigious events held during the United States Judo Federation Spring Board of Directors Meeting is the U.S. Judo Hall of Fame & Lifetime Achievement Award Banquet, traditionally conducted at the conclusion of the Spring Board meeting. The banquet provides an opportunity for the judo community to gather and recognize individuals whose dedication and service have significantly shaped the development of judo in the United States.
The USJF Hall of Fame Banquet features the formal induction ceremony for recipients of the U.S. Judo Hall of Fame and the USJF Lifetime Achievement Awards. These honors celebrate individuals whose leadership, commitment, and accomplishments have left a lasting impact on American judo.
Induction into the U.S. Judo Hall of Fame is the highest honor bestowed by the United States Judo Federation. The USJF was founded in 1952, and the U.S. Judo Hall of Fame was established in 1989 to recognize those who have made extraordinary lifelong contributions to the sport.
