The USJF is a national non-profit corporation dedicated to the development of judo. The USJF regularly forms committees and events at the local, regional and national level for these purposes.

DUTIES
The Public Relations Committee shall seek to acquaint those outside
the USJF with the true spirit and art of Judo and the benefits to
be derived from participation in Judo and cooperation with the USJF.
It shall advise and assist the President in connection with all publications
of the USJF and shall make recommendations to the Board of
Directors as to ways and means to increase the effectiveness and
prestige of the USJF. It shall advise and assist Yudanshakai members
and club members in public relations matters.
Composition. The Public Relations Committee shall consist of a
chairman, and three or more other USJF members
